Dairy Reports

Four animals reached the £1800 mark today, two heifers and a cow in the Pedigrees and a lovely Shorthorn second calver in the commercial section.

A solid trade again for dairies saw a smashing heifer from John Hollingworth of Ockbrook top the day at £2000

A quiet day in the dairy section as is always the case the first week back after Christmas.

Well what a fantastic day from start to finish! 106 in the shed, superb judging by John Bayley, mince pies and coffee (with a touch of rum) topped off with some festive carol singing.

The sub zero temperatures deterred a few but those that did turn out were rewarded with a swift trade.
