Dairy Reports

A lovely entry of 33 milkers for the last sale before Christmas saw another blistering trade with a top of £2430 and 14 passing the £2000 mark.

Helped by an outstanding show of cattle which were very capably judged by John Minshall of Tean we saw a top of £2680, 30 pass the £2000 mark and the entry average £1981, probably the highest I have ever known.

Another very successful day in the dairy ring at Leek with 189 Head sold of which 168 were milkers.

Another blistering trade for dairies saw all qualities sell exceptionally well with almost 50% of the commercial entry selling in excess of £1700.

A superb entry of 58 dairies saw 30 in excess of £1800 the entire entry average £1704 with a top of £2340.
