Dairy Reports

Another very busy day in the Dairy Section on Tuesday saw the Howe family of Litton have a fantastic trade for their 3 heifers which included a Shorthorn heifer. Alongside the strong trade for the British Friesian dispersal this is proof again of the superb and ever increasing following for these breeds at Leek!

Quality was a little lacking in the commercial section today, however trade was swift for what was on offer

A good entry of 57 milkers and 3 dairy heifer calves from a wide area with some lovely heifers for the enthusiasts as well as a number of milky cows to fill the tank.

The dairy shed was absolutely buzzing on Tuesday packed with purchasers from near and far, no doubt drawn by the choice and quality on offer which included the Dispersal of the British Friesian Yeaveley Herd on behalf of the Potter family.

It was a tremendous Pedigree Sale at Leek on Tuesday with 97 passing through the ring and trade sharp throughout both for the pedigree and commercial sections.
