Dairy Reports

The herd dispersal at Leek on behalf of Ricky and Jan Jones of Tamworth surpassed all expectations on Tuesday and proved how truthful the old adage is of quality always sells.

Another strong trade for dairies on Tuesday at Leek saw Roger & Diane Steeples of Northants top at £1950. They also had a second heifer to £1930.

A very fast trade at Leek on Tuesday saw numerous cows and heifers over £2000 and Pedigree Limousin stock bulls to just short of £3000.

A nice entry of milkers forward saw a buoyant trade throughout with the cross breeds yet again leading the day.

A quieter day in the dairy shed but a large crowd and some buyers going home disappointed without the goods they needed.
