The sun was shining at Leek today with a good show in all sections. A highlight today was in the dairy section with an excellent Overseal heifer from the Marshall family realising £2030.

A busy day at Leek Market with the monthly Pedigree Dairy sale seeing a top price of £1930 for a newly calved heifer from J E Archer & Sons of Hilton with cows to £1700.

Full and thriving in all sections today with a full shed of spring lambs, hoggs and a special sale of ewes with lambs at foot.

A busy day at Leek with 163 calves on offer meeting another excellent trade seeing a top price of £420 for a British Blue bull from G V Matkin of Kirk Ireton with an excellent company of buyers around the ring.
