A busy day at Leek Market with 81 dairies being presented...

A wet day at Leek Market didn't put off the trade and numbers on offer this Tuesday.

 A quieter market for Bank Holiday Tuesday with 47 Dairies selling up to £1920 along with a good company of buyers.

The sun was shining at Leek today with a good show in all sections. A highlight today was in the dairy section with an excellent Overseal heifer from the Marshall family realising £2030.

A busy day at Leek Market with the monthly Pedigree Dairy sale seeing a top price of £1930 for a newly calved heifer from J E Archer & Sons of Hilton with cows to £1700.
