Store Sheep Reports

A total entry of 7,859 store and breeding sheep were presented for sale, with a number of new vendors and purchasers in attendance.

A total entry of 7,982 store and breeding sheep were presented for sale, with store lambs being a firmer trade than two weeks ago, although there was a higher proportion of small sorts on offer, as anticipated due to the time of year.

A very pleasing entry of 371 breeding rams were presented for sale, with a good company of buyers in attendance and vendors presenting stock from as far afield as Carlisle. There was a good clearance and some excellent prices achieved.

Another excellent record entry of 10,187 store and breeding sheep were presented for sale, with a good company of buyers and vendors in attendance from an increasingly wide area, with virtually a totally clearance being achieved and trade being well in line with national trends.
