Dairy trade was on fire on Tuesday with 7 passing the £3000 mark to reach £3550.
Topping the day at £3550 was a beautiful Lambda daughter from David and Shirley Kennerley of Betley giving 32kg.
Two heifers from Stuart Greenall of Tansley were hot in pursuit at £3520 and £3500.
Cows topped at £3450 from a second calver from the Phillips family of Winkhill with another second calver from the Waynes of Ible at £3300.

A bumper entry sold to another very solid trade to a top of 411p/kg for very good shaped lambs and plenty at 380p/kg and better for the best shaped lambs.
Commercial lambs 335p – 350p/kg and only the plain sorts less than 325p/kg.
Big lambs again adding up vey well to a top of £207.90 and plenty at £180 and better.
Overall averages at 347p/kg SQQ and £156.20 overall.

Grazing ewes dominated the entry but saw a good number of buyers for them, resulting in good returns for the goods on offer. Top price on the day £365 for a tremendous Texel x Ewe from Jackie Trueman.

A good display of calves today with the top end fit to grace the showring! Fourteen over £700 including six over £800 and a high of £970 for a stunning Limousin from Barry Wager, Hartington.
