Another lovely trade on Tuesday for all qualities saw the best in excess of £2000 and older cows particularly dear.
Topping the day was the Easom family of Oakerthorpe with a 37kg heifer at £2040 to B Fox of Barnard Castle. Very close behind at £2020 was a heifer from Michael Wainwright of Buxton to A Hulme of Basford.
John Allan of Tutbury had his heifer to £2000 also to B Fox. Numerous others were in that £1800 – £2000 bracket.
Shorthorn heifers topped at £1840 from Messrs Howe of Litton with a pedigree British Friesian from S Seabridge to £1850.
