DAIRIES TO £3200
A proper trade for milkers on Tuesday saw a Broomhouse cow take the top honours at £3200 for a second calver giving 45kg. They also saw one of their heifers reach £3050 and their entire entry of 6 average £2675.
A big entry forward for next week’s pedigree sale with nearly 90 entered including a special entry of 25 commencing the herd dispersal on behalf of E Morten & Sons, Dove Holes, Buxton. Further details and catalogues will be out soon!

A seasonal entry met in honesty, a slow trade. Plenty of lambs coming forward in unfinished condition and plenty of processors reporting very slow sales.
Best lambs still well bid for to a top of 370p and best big lambs to £204.60/head.
