Just under 900 head of sheep on offer this week with more spring lambs coming forward, 170 on offer this week with a top price of 428p/kg, few less hoggs available as expected with 531 on offer selling to a top price of 369p/kg and ewes well bid for, topping at £270/head.
Calves still selling to record levels with Limousins topping the bulls at £835 and a British Blue topping the heifers at £620.
Barrens reached 287p/kg for a 660kg Limousin and a top headage price of £2106.75 was achieved for a Shorthorn cow weighing 795kg.
Top price in the dairies was £2300 achieved twice for two fresh heifers.
A bumper entry of pigs this week achieving a solid trade with a top price of 201p/kg for fats.
