The first Tuesday Sale of March and the sun was shining. Good number of entries in the Calves with plenty of potential buyers around the ring, seeing Bulls top at £450 and Heifers to £320.
Trade was on Fire in the Sheep Section, once again seeing entries over the 1,300 mark, with a top of 420p/kg and a top headage price of £228.48.
More Barrens on offer this week with a top price of 195p/kg and a top headage price of £1530.
Mixed quality on offer in the Dairies, with milkers topping at £2080.

MILKERS TO £2080
A mixed quality bought a mixed trade yesterday highlighting the fickleness of the dairy trade as a whole on a week-by-week basis.
Topping the day was a sweet heifer from Andrew Mills of Ratcliffe on Wreake at £2080 with another from David Brailsford of Chesterfield reaching £1940.
