874 head of sheep on offer with spring lambs selling up to 402p/kg, hoggs to 380p/kg and ewes to £260/head.
Barrens topped at 268p/kg for a Shorthorn cow to gross £1956.40.
Faster trade for pigs this week, seeing a top price of 227p/kg for bacon pigs.

A smaller entry but still plenty of trade. Top price was 268p/kg for a 730kg Shorthorn cow from N A Bonsall to gross £1956.40 with a Holstein, from WE Turnock & Sons, weighing 740kg, exchanging hands for 253p/kg to gross £1872.20.
A 660kg Black & White cow from JAS Agricultural was well sold at 255p/kg to gross £1683 and an Aberdeen Angus weighing 660kg, from NG & P Sidebottom achieved 251p/kg.
There was a higher number of leaner small cows on offer which affected the averages.
Overall average was £1230 and 216.20p/kg.

Milkers were keenly sought after on Tuesday with more needed to satisfy demand.
The Bennetts saw both their heifers passing the £2000 mark to £2080 and £2040 respectively.
A lovely run of young calves, including a big group from the Furness family of Elton, topped at £440 to average £425.
