173 Breeding sheep were on offer, the offer included principally Shearlings which topped at £290 for a pen of 10 Texel Shearlings from E Morten & Sons of Barmoor Clough with the same vendor selling other pens of good quality Texels at £285, £255, £250 and £235.
Another pair of Texel Shearlings from P Storer of Reapsmoor exchanged hands for £215.
A Beltex X Shearling Ram from M Prince of Chesterfield was bid for keenly and sold for £440 with a pen of seven Aberfield X Ewe Lambs from Wetley Rocks, realising £118 per head.
