British Blue topped the bull calves at £615 and Charolais topped the heifers at £530.
Barrens averaged 216.46p/kg with a gross of £2097 for a Holstein cow.
Clean cattle averaged 323.96p/kg to a gross of £2069 for an Aberdeen Angus bull.
Lambs sold to 348p/kg to a top headage price of £177 with ewes topping at £250/head.

A British Blue cow topped the Barrens today at 262p/kg for R Parker of Upper Hulme.
There was a strong entry of Black & White cows this week with Friesians achieving 259p/kg to gross £1838.90 for GR & D Hawkins of Cheadle and Holstein also selling to 259p/kg to gross £2097.90 for Morson Bros of Hartington.

A pair of Hereford heifers topped the clean cattle today at 326p/kg and 317p/kg to gross £2053.80 and £1886.15 for H Maydew of Consall.
A trio of Friesian bulls at 19 & 20 months old topped at 335p/kg, 327p/kg and 324p/kg for J E Archer & Sons of Hilton who also had a 17-month-old Aberdeen Angus bull selling to 316p/kg to a top gross price of the day at £2069.80.
Overall average for clean cattle was 323.96p/kg.

Trade was as strong as ever for milkers on Tuesday despite the ongoing forecast of milk price reductions.
Thirteen passed the £3000 mark, topping at £3900 for a powerful Vogue Solar power heifer from the Shepherd family of Bakewell. Out of an EX90, 10577kg dam, she was sold giving 37kg and went to a local purchaser.
Prices reached £3700 twice over, the first for a Claynook Zolton daughter from the Braemarhouse herd of Messrs Mellor, also at the same price was Broomhouse Charter Bhss 8401, a Denovo Charter daughter from the Easom family of Oakerthorpe.
The Mellor family also topped the cows with a very powerful red & white third calver at £3650. This was also reached for a Bomaz Monument daughter from the Weston family of Roston.
Stock bulls topped at £3300 for a March ’24 born Pedigree Simmental bull from Cyril Hudson of Longnor.
