Barren cows topped at 276p/kg for a Simmental cow weighing 655kg to gross £1807.80 for J C & D Hudson of Hollinsclough.
J Gilman & Partners of Bosley had a 600kg Limousin to 266p/kg to gross £1596 and also a Hereford weighing 750kg to 258p/kg to gross £1935 being the top headage price of the day.
A 750kg Aberdeen Angus sold to 256p/kg to gross £1920 for an Ipstones vendor.

CLEAN
A 530kg British Blue steer achieved 316p/kg to gross £1674.80 for Roston Farms Ltd, Roston who also had a 555kg Friesian steer to 304p/kg to gross £1687.20 and a 515kg Highland steer to 273p/kg to gross £1405.95.
Top headage price of the day was £2443.60 for an 820kg Aberdeen Angus steer which sold to 298p/kg, also for Roston Farms Ltd.

A good entry of 21 Milkers met a slightly mixed trade but maybe reflected the quality forward.
Topping the day was a smashing cow from the Wayne family of Ible. Sold giving 49kg she made £2320.
Heifers topped at £2000 from R W Collishaw of Hickling with a second calver from the same home making £1940.
A Friesian heifer from the Kirkham family of Vincent House reached £1850, they also had a Shorthorn heifer to £1810.
