Top headage price of the day was £2465.30 for an 890kg Aberdeen Angus which sold to 277p/kg from Rushton Spencer.
Black & White cows topped at 218p/kg (twice) for RA Lomas & Partners of Matlock and J Kirkham of Sutton.
The overall average was a very pleasing 255.62/kg or £1658.98/head

Clean cattle sold well today with a top price of 360p/kg for a Blonde heifer weighing 605kg to gross £2178.00 for AM & JE Kirby of Rutland.
A Friesian heifer weighing 610kg was close behind at 350p/kg to gross £2135.00 for RA Lomas & Partners of Matlock.
Dairy Shorthorn weighing 450kg topped at 318p/kg to gross £1431.00 for RA Lomas & Partners of Matlock.
Overall average was 291.04/kg with an average headage price of £1210.48/head.
