Breeding Section
A pair of Holstein breeding heifers sold to £2030 and £1810 for F & J Barlow of Froghall, an Aberdeen Angus breeding heifer achieved £1550 for Bullocks Farms, Congleton and S D Preece of Edingale had Dairy Shorthorn heifers topping at £1430.
A British Blue cow topped at £2000 for A M Sayer of Hilderstone, a Hereford cow sold to £1790 for S D Preece of Edingale who also had Dairy Shorthorn cows to £1540.

Young Bulls
Young bulls sold particularly well to £2210 (twice) for 9- and 10-month-old Limousin from Roughcote Limousins Ltd of Werrington who also had a third at 10 months old to £1990. A British Blue at 9 months old sold to £1085 for P Witham of Marston Mongomery and Hambleton Bros of Calton had a 10-month-old Hereford to £1035.

Steers
There were 238 steers on offer with a 25-month-old Simmental topping the day at £2380 for LA & MA Done & Son of Bosley. A trio of Simmental at 19 months old sold to £1950 for J Swindells of Leek.
A 23-month-old Limousin sold to £2350 for S C Machin of Stanley who had another, also 23 months old, to £2200.
Charolais steers at 28 months old sold to £2340 for G Goodwin of Wetley Rocks with another at 29 months old achieving £2300 for the same vendor.
A 22-month-old British Blue steer sold to £2330 for A Swinson of Macclesfield, a 21-month-old British Blue sold to £2300 for S C Machin of Stanley and A Swinson of Macclesfield had another pair at 30 months old to £2300 and £2100. I E Buxton of Marchington had a bunch of four 21-month-old British Blue to £2000.
Aberdeen Angus at 30 months old sold to £2310 for A Swinson of Macclesfield, with a pair at 30 months old achieving £2260, another pair at 21 months old sold to £2200 and another single at 21 months old sold to £2180 all for the same vendor. A 27 month old Aberdeen Angus sold to £2010 for C A Day & Sons of Upper Hulme, a trio of Aberdeen Angus at 24 months old achieved £2000 for L A J Turner of Rownall with another pair at 24 months old selling to £1950 for the same vendor and another pair at 24 months old achieved £1950 also for P B Wain of Gawsworth.
A pair of Friesian steers at 24 months old sold to £2200 for F J Gould & Son of Longnor with a bunch of four Friesians at 29 months old achieving £1930 for C A Day & Sons of Upper Hulme.
A 25-month-old Hereford sold to £2000 for L A J Turner of Rownall, a 16-month-old Hereford achieved £1900 for BP & JR Needham of Heaton and a pair of Hereford at 24 months old sold to £1900 for D & D Gould of Waterhouses.
A pair of 21-month-old Shorthorn steers sold to £1770 for J E Swindells of Leek, a trio of Whitebred Shorthorn at 22 months old achieved £1610 for an Ipstones vendor and Holstein at 18 months old sold to £1500 for BP & JR Needham of Heaton.
Younger cattle sold exceptionally well with a pair of 12-month-old Limousin achieving £2080 for A H & T Carr of Waterfall, a 7-month-old British Blue sold to £1840 for L Nicholls of Wetley Rocks and a pair of Limousin at 9 months old sold to £1750 for D R Flower & Son of Alstonefield.

Heifers
There were 204 heifers on offer with a top price being £2260 for a 23-month-old Limousin heifer from S C Machin of Stanley, close behind was a 21-month-old Limousin at £2240 from CJS Farms of Lask Edge. A pair of 23-month-old Limousin sold to £1980 for S C Machin of Stanley and another 21-month-old pair achieved £1930 from CJS Farms of Lask Edge.
A 24-month-old Simmental sold to £2180 for an Ipstones vendor and a Simmental at 23 months old sold to £2000 for LA & MA Done of Bosley.
British Blue heifers topped at £2090 at 23 months old for GS, KM & PL Eyre of Tean, a pair at 25 months old sold to £2040 for CJS Farms of Lask Edge and a 28-month-old British Blue sold to £2000 for S & J Ryder of Dilhorne.
A 24-month-old Hereford sold to £2090 for S & J Ryder of Dilhorne and a 20-month-old Hereford sold to £2040 for L A J Turner of Rownall.
A trio of Aberdeen Angus heifers sold to £1990 for C A Day & Sons of Upper Hulme and a single at 27 months sold to £1980 for S & J Ryder of Dilhorne.
Shorthorn heifers at 22-month-old sold to £1960 for E Trueman of Quarnford.
A pair of 25-month-old Charolais heifers sold to £1760 for HM H & S Shann of Sheen.
In the younger cattle, a pair of 9-month-old Limousin sold to £1660 for L Nicholls of Wetley Rocks and an 8-month-old Limousin sold to £1390 for A H & T Carr of Waterfall.
The overall average for heifers was £1368.46.
