Store Lambs
Store lambs were again a firm trade, up to £158 for Cheviot lambs from LA Longden of Hope Valley.
Lleyn lambs from C Grindey of Adlington achieved up to £153.50 with others at £146.50 from the same vendor.
Texels topped at £150 for lambs from S & S Percival of Belper and also from David Goldstraw of Meerbrook.

Beltex lambs topped at £138 from RE Smith of Cheddleton.
Charollais lambs from KE Grocott of Leigh achieved up to £148 and £146 and £135.50 from RS Bessant of Hulme End.
Zwartble Lambs were in good demand up to £131 for TF & J Thompson of Longnor.
Oxford lambs sold up to £130 from SJ Hudson of Ilam.
Romney lambs sold to £129 from B, ME & CE Cooper of Knutsford.
Berrichon lambs were up to £128 for GA Cooper of Sheffield.
Hampshire lambs were up to £122 from S & S Percival of Belper.
Shropshire up to £120 for JG Critchlow of Rushton Spencer.
The overall average for store lambs was £106.80 with a high proportion of small long-term lambs.
Breeding Ewes
A good entry of In-lamb ewes achieved up to £325 for Cheviot ewes scanned in-lamb to Beltex or Charollais (2 pens).
Suffolk in-lamb ewes for E Vaughan of Newcastle topped at £300 for full mouth ewes and £295 for a second pen.
Exlana in-lamb ewes from T Chester of Needwood scanned in-lamb topped at £280 with others at £270.
Texel in-lamb ewes from P Whieldon of Bollington topped at £275 (twice) £270 and £265.
Shearling Texel X ewes from S Charles of Wardlow scanned in-lamb sold up to £270 and £240.
A flock dispersal, from Alan Edgecox, of Welsh ewes which had run with a Charollais ram, sold up to £154 for 4 & 6 tooth ewes and £131 for 6 tooth ewes.
There were a number of grazing ewes up to £142 for Masham ewes and £140 for Texel X ewes.
