A very busy and successful Store Sheep Sale at Leek Market with 8,839 head on offer.

There were 6,086 Store Lambs with buyers again in attendance from West and South Wales and all over the Midlands.
Suffolk ewe lambs from P & M hayward & Son of Chapel en le Frith topped at £178, £177, £175, £169.50 and £167 (twice). Other Suffolk ewe lambs from Alan Hayes of Alstonefield achieved £160.
