Farmers managed to get to the market this week even with a diesel shortage!! And their livestock meeting a solid trade for all sections.
Market Report 21st September
Another busy Tuesday sale incorporating the monthly Pedigree Dairy Sale, which saw heifers to £2300 and £2100, with cows up to £2080.
Market Report 14th September
Another nice trade for dairies saw the best to £2190 for a very stylish second calver from the Cotton family of Whiston with another second calver from Messrs Easom to £1900.

We experienced one of the busiest days at Leek this Tuesday, with bumper entries throughout the market, and some excellent prices achieved!

A quieter Bank Holiday Tuesday but some excellent prices achieved in all sections today.
Market Report 24th August
What a tremendous turnout of buyers for the Dispersal sale on behalf of John & Louise Plant & Family with a superb trade throughout and selling up to £2180. The Commercial were another highlight with cows to £2520 twice, heifers to £2510 and 17 over £2000.
Beltex Sale Report Wednesday 18th August
Leek hosted the Beltex Society Show & Sale on Wednesday and a huge thank you to those who supported the sale this year.

With the weather taking a turn, its feeling more like winter. Many farmers bringing stock this Tuesday and taking advantage of the trade on offer at Leek.
Market Report 10th August
A great turnout of butchers lambs and what an electric trade!! Best types raced away up to 290p/kg, and those you sold lambs today went away very happy with the prices achieved.

Another busy day at Leek this Tuesday with a buoyant trade in the Dairy shed with the best quality heifers selling up to £2130 and £2100.
